High time I got 'Apophysis Glitches' off my front page!
It refers to an older version of Apophysis, though I expect it's still relevant. Maybe things will improve with Windows 7? Not that I'm rushing... I've had enough troubles with that laptop, and I'm not seeking out more before I have to!
I'm now using Apophysis 7X and 2.09; 7X is working well but 2.09 keeps crashing. It seems to crash less if I only have one variation checked in Options.
I don't mean this to turn into Apophysis Glitches II, though!
I have hundreds of older works in my folders -- Apophysis, Tierazon, Xaos, Bryce, Paint.net, Photoshop Elements etc; some of them I have been meaning to trot out to both dA and Caedes (though not the same wallpapers to both sites). Some are waiting on my desktop as I write this -- I meant to post them before this but was distracted. Anyway, they may appear over the next wee while.
Earlier, I reshuffled my Favourites gallery.
My 'Abstract' collection is getting quite big, so I'm slowly breaking it up into smaller folders. Pieces in my Bejewelled folder (for example) won't be in Abstracts any more. I need to slim it down! If you happen to be hunting for new deviations to feature on your journal, you might like a look -- there's variety there. I can't promise I got the categorization 'spot on' in every instance.
Not all my favourites appear in the main gallery... I was trying to make it easier to look at, without pages and pages to wade through without a break. (The ones at the back of a big collection probably never get seen!) So don't forget to visit the individual collections.
I'm unable to do a proper feature, as I'm not subscribed... but have been feeling lately that I don't have the heart to post some thumbnails and not others! It doesn't seem quite fair, and they are all beautiful works in their own different ways.
Thank you to my friends and watchers, both on dA and Caedes! I am quiet a lot, mostly because of our very low download limit. I looked into changing to another ISP but so far I haven't seen anything I want to put my trust in. Despite the silences and slow reactions, please know that I appreciate you all and enjoy your postings.
Hopefully you will find new friends and favourites through this journal entry! You can see my Favourites Gallery here.
